Norfolk status Common. The only British member of this family. Can occur any time of year, with two main generations. Often found hibernating. Gardens and woodland where foodplant (Honeysuckle) is found.
Each wing is separated into 6 plumes, making the old vernacular name Twenty-plume Moth rather inaccurate!
